About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California (PSY34479) who provides individual psychotherapy to adults.

In addition to my private practice, I work as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine. There, I teach psychotherapy to medical fellows, provide psychotherapy, and work collaboratively within the Adult Depression and Anxiety Psychosocial Treatment Clinic & the Addiction Medicine Dual Diagnosis Clinic.

I trained at the San Francisco VA in the PTSD clinic, where I learned gold standard treatments for PTSD. I completed my internship in the Behavioral Medicine clinic at Kaiser in Oakland, where I provided psychotherapy for individuals with complex medical diagnoses. I finished my training with a post-doctoral fellowship in the department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine, treating addiction and mood disorders, where I continued on as faculty.

I am inspired by many psychiatrists and psychologists, some of whom include Aaron Beck, Steven Hayes, Irving Yalom, and Carl Jung. These colleagues and predecessors guide my approach and understanding of psychotherapy.
